No service description is a guarantee of a particular result.

3. Eligibility

My services are intended for adults aged 18 years and over.

By booking a consultation or plan, you confirm that:

  • the information you provide is accurate and complete
  • you will inform me of any relevant changes to your health, medication or circumstances while we are working together
  • you understand that nutrition advice is based on the information you disclose.

I reserve the right to decline, pause or discontinue a service where I reasonably believe it would not be appropriate or safe to continue. Any refund due for undelivered services will be considered in accordance with these terms and your statutory rights.

4. Free 15-Minute Call

The free 15-minute call is an informal discussion to help you decide which service may be appropriate for your needs.

The call:

  • is not a nutrition consultation
  • does not include individual nutrition advice
  • does not include diagnosis or treatment
  • does not create an ongoing client-practitioner relationship.
  • No written nutrition plan or recommendations will be provided during the call.

5. Initial 1:1 Consultation

The Initial 1:1 Consultation is a one-to-one nutrition consultation lasting approximately 60 to 90 minutes.

Following the consultation, you may receive, where appropriate:

  • nutrition recommendations
  • calorie and protein targets
  • written guidance and agreed actions
  • practical strategies
  • example meal ideas.

Advice is based on the information available at the time of the consultation. Ongoing support and a follow-up appointment are not included unless stated in your booking.

6. Follow-Up Consultations

Follow-Up Consultations are available to existing clients who have previously completed an Initial 1:1 Consultation or one of my nutrition plans.

These appointments are intended to:

  • review progress
  • answer questions
  • make appropriate adjustments to recommendations
  • discuss any new goals, circumstances or challenges.

Each Follow-Up Consultation lasts approximately 60 minutes.

7. Fast Fat Loss Plan

The Fast Fat Loss Plan includes:

  • one Initial Consultation
  • one Follow-Up Consultation
  • a preparation phase
  • one structured fast fat loss phase
  • individual calorie and protein targets
  • example meal ideas and a written nutrition plan
  • weekly check-ins during the agreed support period
  • maintenance guidance.

The plan is normally completed over approximately four to five weeks, including four weeks of support, unless a different timetable is agreed.

Any optional daily check-ins must be agreed in advance. They do not mean unlimited support or immediate availability. Support is provided during normal working hours and messages sent outside those hours may not receive an immediate response.

8. Multiphasic Fast Fat Loss Plan

The Multiphasic Fast Fat Loss Plan includes:

  • one Initial Consultation
  • three Follow-Up Consultations
  • a preparation phase
  • two or three structured fast fat loss phases, as appropriate
  • planned maintenance phases between dieting phases
  • individual calorie and protein targets
  • example meal ideas and a written nutrition plan
  • weekly check-ins during the agreed support period
  • guidance on eating habits, maintenance and keeping weight off long term.

The plan is normally completed over approximately 10 to 12 weeks, although the exact number and timing of dieting and maintenance phases will depend on your circumstances, progress and what is agreed with you.

Any optional daily check-ins must be agreed in advance. They do not mean unlimited support or immediate availability. Support is provided during normal working hours and messages sent outside those hours may not receive an immediate response.

9. Sports and Performance Nutrition Consultation

The Sports and Performance Nutrition Consultation is a one-to-one consultation lasting approximately 60 to 90 minutes. It is intended for people seeking nutrition guidance for training, competition, recovery, endurance, strength, body composition or general sporting performance.

The service may include, where appropriate:

  • a review of your sport, training schedule, goals, current food intake and relevant health information
  • estimated energy, carbohydrate, protein and hydration requirements
  • practical fuelling and recovery strategies
  • guidance for training days, rest days and competition or event days
  • supplement guidance based on the available evidence
  • written recommendations and agreed actions.
  • A follow-up appointment and ongoing support are not included unless stated in your booking. Performance outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

10. Weight Loss Medication Nutrition Support

Weight Loss Medication Nutrition Support provides nutrition guidance for adults who have been prescribed weight loss medication by an appropriately qualified prescriber.

  • The service includes:
  • one Initial Consultation
  • one Follow-Up Consultation
  • a review of your current eating habits, goals, relevant medical history and prescribed medication
  • guidance on calorie and protein intake, meal structure and food choices
  • practical strategies to help you continue to lose weight, maintain your results and build healthier eating habits
  • written recommendations and agreed actions.

This is a nutrition service only. I do not prescribe, supply or administer weight loss medication, assess whether medication is clinically suitable for you, or alter your dose. Questions about side effects, contraindications, dosage or changes to medication must be discussed with your prescriber, GP, pharmacist or another suitably qualified healthcare professional.

If you experience severe, persistent or concerning symptoms, you should seek prompt medical advice. In an emergency, call 999 or use the appropriate urgent medical service.

11. Client Responsibilities

To help me provide an appropriate service, you agree to:

  • provide honest and accurate health and lifestyle information
  • disclose diagnosed medical conditions, allergies and relevant symptoms
  • disclose all medication and supplements you take
  • inform me if your health, medication or circumstances change
  • follow advice only where it remains appropriate for you
  • seek medical advice or clearance where recommended
  • attend appointments punctually
  • engage actively with the agreed plan.

You remain responsible for your food choices, participation in exercise or sport, use of supplements and all decisions concerning your health and medical treatment.

12. Medical Conditions and Scope of Practice

Nutrition by Hayley does not diagnose, treat or cure medical conditions and is not a substitute for medical care.

If you have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have recently undergone surgery, are taking prescription medication or have symptoms requiring investigation, medical clearance or liaison with an appropriate healthcare professional may be required before recommendations can be provided.

Where appropriate, I may recommend that you consult your GP, prescriber or another healthcare professional before beginning or continuing a plan.

13. Eating Disorders

My services are not intended for the diagnosis or treatment of eating disorders.

If I reasonably believe that an eating disorder or clinically significant disordered eating may be present, I may pause, decline or discontinue the service and recommend appropriate specialist support. Any refund due for undelivered services will be considered fairly and in accordance with your statutory rights.

14. Results

Every individual responds differently to nutrition and lifestyle interventions. While my recommendations are based on the best available evidence, I cannot guarantee:

  • weight loss or fat loss
  • performance improvements
  • body composition changes
  • specific health outcomes.

Results depend on many factors, including adherence, lifestyle, training, medical history, medication, sleep, stress and individual physiology.

15. Fees and Payment

Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Prices may be updated from time to time. A price change will not affect a booking or purchase that has already been confirmed.

16. Your Right to Cancel Online or Telephone Bookings

If you purchase a paid service online, by telephone or away from my usual business premises, you will normally have a legal right to cancel within 14 days from the day after the contract is made, without giving a reason.

To cancel, email hayley@nutritionbyhayley.com with a clear statement that you wish to cancel. You may use a cancellation form if one is provided, but you do not have to.

If you ask me to begin providing the service during the 14-day cancellation period, you expressly request early performance of the service. If you then cancel within that period, I may charge a proportionate amount for services already supplied, provided the legal requirements for doing so have been met.

If the service has been fully performed within the cancellation period at your express request, and you acknowledged before performance began that your cancellation right would be lost once the service was completed, your right to cancel that completed service may end.

Nothing in this section limits any cancellation or other rights you have under consumer law.

17. Appointment Cancellation and Rescheduling

Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled by providing at least 24 hours’ notice.

If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, or you miss an appointment without notice, I may charge an amount that reasonably reflects the appointment time reserved and any loss caused by the late cancellation. Where I am able to fill the appointment or avoid the loss, this will be taken into account.

For clients enrolled in a plan, a missed appointment may be treated as used where it cannot reasonably be rearranged. Repeated failure to attend or engage may result in the service being ended. Any decision about fees or a refund will take account of the services already provided, the loss reasonably incurred and your statutory rights.

18. Refunds

Refunds will be handled in accordance with UK consumer law and the cancellation rights described above.

If you cancel after the statutory cancellation period, or after asking me to begin work, any refund will take account of consultations already delivered, individual calculations, written plans or materials already prepared, and any other work completed specifically for you.

You will not be charged for services that I do not provide. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, including your rights if a service is not provided with reasonable care and skill or does not match the information agreed before purchase.

19. Late Arrival

If you arrive late, your appointment may need to finish at the originally scheduled time to avoid delaying other clients.

If insufficient time remains to provide a meaningful consultation, the appointment may need to be rearranged and may be treated as a late cancellation, subject to the fair application of section 17.

20. Communication and Support

Email and messaging are intended for administrative matters and any support expressly included in your service.

Messages are answered as promptly as reasonably possible during normal working hours. Nutrition by Hayley does not provide continuous monitoring or emergency medical support.

21. Confidentiality and Data Protection

Your personal information will be treated confidentially and handled in accordance with my Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.

Information will only be shared where:

  • you provide consent
  • sharing is reasonably necessary to provide the service and is permitted by law
  • I am legally required to disclose it
  • there is a serious safeguarding concern or an immediate risk of harm.

22. Intellectual Property

All original materials provided by Nutrition by Hayley remain my intellectual property. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • nutrition plans and written recommendations
  • meal ideas and recipes
  • educational resources and handouts
  • downloads and worksheets
  • calculators and website content.

These materials are licensed to you for your personal use only. They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, shared, sold, published or used commercially without my prior written permission. This does not prevent you from sharing relevant information with your healthcare professional for your own care.

23. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or breach of your statutory consumer rights.

Subject to the paragraph above, Nutrition by Hayley will not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made, or for business losses arising from a service purchased wholly or mainly for personal use.

I am not responsible for medical decisions made by you or another healthcare professional, or for loss arising from inaccurate, incomplete or withheld information supplied by you, except where the law provides otherwise.

24. Events Outside My Reasonable Control

I will not be responsible for delay or failure to provide a service caused by events outside my reasonable control, such as serious illness, internet or platform failure, severe weather, natural disaster or other unforeseen disruption.

I will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and take reasonable steps to minimise disruption. Where a service cannot be rearranged or provided, you will be offered an appropriate refund for the part not supplied.

25. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of my service, please contact me in writing at hayley@nutritionbyhayley.com so that I can investigate and try to resolve the matter promptly.

26. Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version that applies to your purchase will normally be the version in force when you booked or purchased the service, unless a change is required by law or you agree to it.

The latest version will be available on my website.

27. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

You may bring legal proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live. Nothing in these terms affects any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.
